Built with Shimano’s XT-7 material with a cold forged aluminium ARC spool which offers exceptional salt water resistance, casting ability and most importantly a smooth professional finish. With a Hi-Speed drag system allowing you to quickly switch from freespool mode to fight mode with a very small rotation of the drag knob. Perfect for when needing to increase tension quickly during a fight. Greater efficiency is achieved with X-ship technology by moving the pinion gear closer to the centre line of the large diameter drive gear. This transfers more power from the rotor to the handle to help tame those fish making long powerful runs. Each reel has been crafted with G free body technology which has been developed to shift the reel’s centre of gravity closer to the rods meaning less fatigue and enhanced casting performance. The parallel body technology allows for the spool to be lined out parallel to the rod resulting in the reduction of line touching the rod and subsequently increasing your casting distance.
